I called John Ng, Czech Auto's Workshop Manager, this afternoon to enquire whether they will continue to provide the free labour for the 10K servicing. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that they are planning to offer a free parts and labour servicing to existing Skoda owners as a form of welcome gift. He said that this offer will be published in the papers. Let's look out for the ad. I think this is really good news!

When questioned when they will actually start operations, he said, officially it will be in early July. However, they are planning a soft launch early next month (June), especially to cater to owners with emergencies.

That is certainly good news, for existing and future owners alike. Such an attitude does wonders for the brand. Thank goodness! [angelic]

Fabiaman, you dont have to go to the MCF garage for servicing now [laugh]

2 promos coming up... 1 will be in July for the formal promotion. The other is not finalised yet.

They will also take care of both existing owners and the "unfortunate" buyers in separate arrangements. They will try to get the existing owners details from JTA and if that fails, they will probably advertise for us to send in our details. If that happens, it would be an excellent PR effort.

All in all, very good to hear what they are trying to do.... expect a BIG BANG in July for the re-launch of Skoda in Singapore.

BTW, the new line will be up next week.... Gen'l Tel : 6472 1188

Considering what JTA stands for and what kind of crooks Mr. JL and bros are, I highly doubt that they'll be able to take over the customer databse.

Heard that the Exklusiv group has been eyeing this Skoda dealership for a long long time...

Look like the Czech workshop has started operation already. Called this afternoon and can actually book a servicing date.

Just checking it out, have not book a date yet for my 10k. Anyway the number for the workshop is 6472 1188. Located at no. 2 Leng Kee Road.

For info.

It is always the driver, never the car.

Agree. The driver play a greater part in the way the car moves. Nissan is still a ah chek car, but in the hand of a fast and furious driver, it becomes nascar. [cool]
