Actually it is called a Daytime Running Lamp.

 

Its funny, because in countries where DRL is compulsory, or going to be compulsory in the near future, some cars already come with it as standard, you turn the car on, and the DRLs are on by default. And the talk is focused on how to disable the DRL.

 

Over here, people instead want to have DRL, and are willing to spend money to have it. I guess, its just trying to be different.

 

ppl here want to be"special" and like to irritate others. See so many driver on the fog light and high beam all the way. The only reason i think about: irritate ppl loh.

It is illegal.... I am being stopped on CTE by TP before. I argue it is Daylight LED but TP say it is illegal. In the end, he took some picture and give me a warning.

 

The Daylight LED is also no approve during vehicle inspection.....
