Keep yr CC in the freezer, don't live with borrowed money. Use cash to purchase thing. That will monitor yr ability.

then I would recommend the good old traditional biscuit tin to hold money rather than put it into the bank.

In time of this, while most would think of saving up and spending less, but then, to keep the economy moving, there's a need to spend to ensure liquidity.

and what's wrong with using credit card? borrowed money with the ability to pay off at the end statement is perfectly alright to me...

am i missing something? [confused]

actually hor, cannot 100% blame them because they were consistently being brainwash by someone who keep feeding them with bed of roses situation no matter how sh*ty situation is... what to do, they were encouraged to consistently maintain "positive" until they became delusional and living in "alice the wonderland"..... let them learnt he hardway when they step into the reality.... [nod]

Yeah... bed of roses.

Not to worry, we are just experiencing "economy slow-down with possible increase in umemployment rate". That's all.

and possible CPF cut to help SMEs and foreign investor so that they will continue to invest in s'pore..

what else have we not gone thru before.. ..

Stupidest joke of the year: Oil price go up become excuse for share prices to drop cause they say cost go up, oil prices go down also become excuses for share prices to drop cause they say lower demand for oil means economy slowing down

All the analyst have "Post Kong Ming" syndrome, if u know what I mean.

You're right. There's nothing wrong if the CC bill is paid in full by the due date......no balance carried forward to the next bill.

Absolutely no need for drastic measures such as cutting up CC or keeping them hidden.

Pretty useful tools...so long as you respect the rules of the game. [sunny]

I lost count of when CPF was cut and when they restore liao.

I just make sure that whether CPF is cut or when interest rate up, my CPF is still enough for HDB loan installment, ok liao. CPF rate is something out of our control.
