Amazon777 3rd Gear October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 (edited) part of the tender process.. i paid 31k for the car, 6k for the car body, the rest belong to govt $$$ (COE, ARF).... Only $31K for a 2 yrs old Fiat Punto? Do you mean the paper rebate equates to $25K and body value of $6K which equates to $31K. That's a very good deal. Many years ago, I bidded for an old Merc from a foreign bank, but prices nowadays so attractive. Amazon777 3rd Gear October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 (edited) There are alot of finance broker around if you want to spare the hassle, such as Swift Leasing etc or u can go to the banks direct. Edited October 29, 2008 by Amazon777
Schneider79 Clutched October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 Bro... if you own a Fiat Punto and you want to sell it at this point of time, the dealer might take below $30k considering the need to duplicate keys. The resale market for this car is worse than a Cherry QQ! Probably the previous owner could not sell the ride to the local dealers as the trade-in price is too low and since he cannot sell it, might as well get it repo. Thus not giving up the keys to the finance company. Tanlee : You might wanna call Fiat to find out the price for the keys before you call the 3rd party key makers... Juzzme 3rd Gear October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 just curious...why are there so many Fiat Puntos (and even 2 Bravos tis round of auction) being auctioned ? Coincidentally, i noticed a certain car rental coy at Turf City also uses several Puntos and Bravos.

Rickster 5th Gear October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 So in other words, someone actually bidded 42K for it and then decides to give it up due to the extent of the damage the car has suffered, thus thats y it came to you at 31K right?

Tanlee 1st Gear October 30, 2008 Author Share October 30, 2008 the engine look fine... before i bid, i only notice the repair between the radicator and engine.. (common in any frontal accident) but, yesterday, i notice a fair bit of repair between the engine and firewall... there is another punto next to it, i was able to do a comparison... so my mechanic advise me against it since my current ride is still ok... tanlee.
