EPS light on

My car EPS light is on, it happens about once every 2 weeks, it will self rectify itself after a few hours. But it is causing some inconvinence. And steering can't move when the EPS light is on.

 

It has enough power steering fluid.

 

What could the other reason that this EPS light is on and how to rectify?

 

I tried to read up on it and it was mentioned that it could even be grounding problem.

 

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

EPS= electronic/electric powered steering?

 

i drove an electric forklift,when tis indicator is "ON", very heavy steering almost impossible to turn.

then come s mechanic,either he replaced a fuse,or take out el motor for replace,no need oil to top up type.
