Steering Boss Kit

Hi Guys, need some advice.

 

WS checked my steering because horn kept going off suddenly while driving and advice me to change boss kit.

 

Any place to recommend for changing boss kit for nissan presea? Preferably in the west (pioneer rd north) or kaki bukit? Much thks in advance

If you are in Kaki Bukit area then go to Autobacs Ubi and buy a boss kit and ask them fix for you lah.

Good advice, I called them and was quoted 200+ to change boss kit and steering. (they said bos kit change must be together w steering)

 

I thought the price is a bit steep from what I've read.

No need to buy new steering mah. Normally boss kit can buy on it's own. Unless your steering is original then maybe the whole assembly got problem and it is easier to replace the entire steering wheel than to troubleshoot and try and repair. Do you have an airbag?

 

Try Stamford Jurong - they have a few boss kit there. If your time is precious then maybe Autobacs solution is more practical - just change everything.

for hundred thereabouts, u can get a nice aftermarket steering wheel plus boss kit plus installation at car accessories shops.

 

aftermarket steering wheel can fit most aftermarket boss kits. but boss kit is specific to ur car model.
