Student admits causing crash

POLYTECHNIC student who was driving his father's car at around midnight along Old Upper Thomson Road on Jan 29, lost control and went off the road, plunging 1 metre downhill before hitting some trees.

Two passengers at the back of the Mitsubishi Lancer, Nanyang Polytechnic students Mr David Li, 18, and Mr Mervin Teo, 19, did not survive the crash . . . .

Wonder if the two dead kids' next of kin will file civil suits.

I agree but we were all once young. I too have "tested" devil's bend with my friends and have encountered understeer at certain points, but thankfully nothing happened.

Once you get older such trivial pursuits don't really matter.

The other day, I was driving through my carpark when this young chap in a Suzuki Swift almost banged into me when he made a turn. Mind you, he was driving like F1 and crosses over the stop line without giving a damn. I had the right of way but I had to do a quick stop to avoid him.

Si Gin nah dunno lastic [thumbsdown]

Good thing for my defensive driving though [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
