Every single day at night the kids fight and drag chairs and throw toys and shout and husband and wife fighting and quarrelling. No kidding. Every SINGLE day. My relative went up to tell them many times but each time they say ok ok ok but not apologetic. There was once the husband beat the wife up until jia lat jia lat police came a few times. in the evening is kids causing noise. In the night is the husband quarrelling with wife... The final last time my relative went up to tell them to quiet down, they ask him to move out if he is not happy I think they are also irritated by my relative's non stop visits. 2. Hi guys, My car had this error while driving on MCE on tuesday, I stopped my car at the side of the exp to restart the car but still the same. I decided to continue the journey as it did not affect my car driving. Finally reached my destination and open up the hood. Found one of the battery wire connector slightly loosen and tightened the screw. Tried to restart the car and problem went away but came back after a minute later. I decided to ignore it. It hasnt come back since and I drove the car the past two days without this error. Any thoughts what could cause this?

  10. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/artic...jectid=10832735 The father of a Kiwi facing up to 10 years in Singapore's notorious Changi Prison and a caning travelled with him last week when he finally turned himself in. Robert Stephen Dahlberg, a stock broker and former junior Tall Black basketballer, appeared in a Singapore court last week charged with causing grievous bodily harm - relating to an alleged booze-fuelled altercation in April 2010 in which two locals were injured. Dad Bill Dahlberg, a trustee of the Canterbury Community Trust, said despite his son having skipped the country in July last year, he had always been keen to honour his obligations, though he would defend the charges. "Robert did the right thing by going to the police in the days after the incident and voluntarily giving a statement. He continued to be concerned about the welfare of Mr Liew [one of the injured] and made repeated offers to pay for medical expenses and arrange for him to see a specialist. "Robert stayed in Singapore, gaining permanent residency status, for 14 months after the incident. It was a shock to us all when charges were laid." Last July, he paid a $23,000 bond to travel for business while on bail. He promised to return to Singapore, but skipped to New Zealand. Dahlberg returned to Singapore and was arrested upon arrival and appeared in court. His next court date is in two weeks.

  14. Came across this news from google and wanted to take this oportunity to educate my kids.... but ended up as a minor flame war in my family My daughter asked me that why is the lorry driver penalised when he follow the traffic rules (drive off after green light)? Its very obvious th its the pedestrian fault since she was so far away from the pedestrian crossing... My wife explained to her that the driver should keep a look out of the pedestrian when driving.... I do not agree with my wife and told her that the pedestrian should not assume that all drivers could see them cause there are many other things that the driver need to pay attention with, afterall, its the pedestrian own safety and if they dont care, who else would?? ... My wife buay song after hearing what i said and the argument started,..... ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________ http://news.asiaone.com/News/AsiaOne%2BNew...608-351433.html A lorry driver has been jailed for one week and banned from driving for three years for causing the death of a pedestrian, reported The Straits Times. 20. http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/Bleak-out...156993.html?x=0 Singapore's property sector may soon face difficult times, as Standard Chartered Bank's latest report has stated a bearish outlook for the market. According to the bank's analysts, prices and rents of residential properties in Singapore will drop by 30 percent over the next three years. This will be quite a setback, given that prices rose 18 percent in 2010, as Singapore recovered strongly from the global financial crisis. Prices soared a further six percent in the first three quarters of this year. In addition, the bank expects some problems ahead, such as the unprecedented supply of completed homes coming on-stream and slower population growth due to stricter immigration policies. "We expect lower population growth and high completions to induce a 20-30 percent decline in home prices in 2012-2014," said the StanChart analysts. "When residential prices went into a four-year downcycle from 2001, residential developers traded at 0.6-0.8 times price-to-book ratio." The gloomy outlook came after property developers reported subdued results for the third quarter this year, attributed to lower contributions from their development units. 24. Sorry, some whinning here. I feel that poor driving by many people is the main result of jams (of course other factors like road designs and traffic lights are sometimes the culprit instead). From my observation, I realise than many people like to cut in from lane 1 to leftmost lane when they are around 100-200m from the express way exits (sometimes even closer). If they can't cut in, they just slow down and causes cars behind to brake and slow down as well. As cars get slower, they get closer to each other and its even more difficult to cut in. then drivers have to slow down even more to try to change lanes... The end result in a jam at expressway exits. I ever did see people coming to literally a halt (like 10-20KM/H)on lane 2 so they can cut in to lane 4 to exit the expressway on CTE. You horn them them also don't care. Then you have to stop with them. Few notorious spots are CTE exit to PIE, CTE exit to bukit timah, PIE to BKE and more..... This is terrible driving.....
