Comnao 1st Gear December 31, 2008 Share December 31, 2008 (edited) A temp solution will be to tweak the font size for your own computer. Font sizes can be tweaked on your own screen by pressing down the "ctrl", and turning your mouse scroll wheel. We will be looking at improving the colour combination and providing font size differentiation for easier reading. already tried... doesnt work for me PC nevertheless.. thanks for all your great work !! Fondue Neutral Newbie December 31, 2008 Share December 31, 2008 New layout is clean and neat. But seems like I'm getting less information on my screen than before. For the old format, when I get to the homepage, I get lots of info without having to scroll thru the page. This makes it easy for me to choose which thread to go first. Now, the MCF logo and icon bar took-up almost 1/3 of the page, leaving only 2/3 to display limited info. Within a thread, there are also lots of space wasted. Can only view 3 replys on the screen, and if there are all one-liner, then there isn't much info for the reader. As quite a few user has mentioned, a larger font will be good. Chrispie 5th Gear December 31, 2008 Share December 31, 2008 Hi fellow MCFer, As you all know, the MCF board has been revamped. The MCF moderator and admin team would like to gather feedback in this thread. Do point out to us what you think should be changed/improved. You may state good points and bad points, but please be constructive! Bugs and errors, please report here as well. I think the Quick Reply should be removed totally. When everyone is using that for convenience, a thread goes multi tracked after a while..

Kxbc Turbocharged January 2, 2009 Share January 2, 2009 Not sure if it has been brought up in the previous pages but here goes. The old forum used to have a car model review section by forumers on their recently purchased car. It is a good guide when you are considering a new purchase. I can't seem to find that anymore. Can that section be brought back to life?

I can't help you. Maybe change your browser? One more thing, in response to the many calls to bring the "view all" function back, the MCF team is working on it. For now, users who find that "threads per page" is too little can increase in via the "my controls > board settings".
Yaloryalor 5th Gear January 7, 2009 Share January 7, 2009 Hi fellow MCFer, As you all know, the MCF board has been revamped. The MCF moderator and admin team would like to gather feedback in this thread. Do point out to us what you think should be changed/improved. You may state good points and bad points, but please be constructive! Bugs and errors, please report here as well. Hi Admin, I am not sure if this has been highligted to you but I would like to give my feedback... Previously, there will be email notification to me when someone has reply to my posting. However, even now I click on the "email notification of replies", the email will still alert me but its only tell me someone replying to this thread. It may not be replying to me. In this case, if i make many replies to different threads, then it would be difficult for me to go back individual thread to see if anyone has reply me. I still prefer the previous arrangement that there will be email notification to me only when someone replying directly to me (not this thread). I realise some other forum also got this problem but I think the previous MCF has this very good function. Now, its the same as other forum.. Secondly, there used to be a link where we can click "in reply to". We can trace the posting, who is replying to who. This is very useful expecially if there are many replies and some ppl do not quote the previous sentance. I really like MCF. Hopefully there above can be restored. Thank you very much!
