Suggestion....

Maybe you can look into "Conditional Formatting" in your spreadsheet.

you need to add in a field somewhere which stores the current date as a comparison value..

e.g. using one of the fields as "=now()"

then using conditional formatting, compare with that column of dates you're trying to keep track and paint some other background colour.

its just visual 'alarm' though.

if you still prefer popup box then can ignore my suggestion...

I do this simple but effective mode of monitoring too.

Its very straight forward yet very effective. I just key a base date of 1-2 months notice from whatever due dates, it will automatically change colour once the date is exceeded. I just have to have a quick peek look everyday, to check im on top of the situation. [thumbsup]

Previous earlier excel version already have this feature. Ive been using this since 1999.

use google and search for US based programming forum. Ask nicely and you will get alot of response lor. I used to do that years ago while I was still in poly lol

Today morning I have worked with ms excel reports. After that I couldn't open all of them. I started searching for a reason, but luckily for me a next software simply worked out my trouble. Besides it demonstrated some of its capabilites gave a hint that is able to easily manage with some other condition as well - Excel repairing.
