looks good to me, relatively cheap too.

 

well, you may wish to check out the processor speed.

plus the map support.

 

last but not least, how responsive is the recalculation.

There's no brand and what's aftersale support - is it one year warranty?

 

If it can install Mapking (is it inclusive), then I find it worthwhile. Why not get more reputable brands? Shinco, Holux, Garmin?

I suspect this is some Made in China generic GPS running IGO. At least the screen looks like one and it sure looks like this one and more expensive. I have something similar and it is capable of running Mapking R12, Garmin Mobile XT and IGO8. You might to take a look at the FAQ for these devices from DealExtreme

thanks, i have not done any research yet on which brands or models, i thot the GPS here in SG are all english speaking type

if not included already, can easily download voice pack have tried chinese, cantonese etc. for garmin
