HID problems

Dear all

 

got a problem with my original HIDs.

 

It lights up. then for no reason, the left side switches off. but if I off and on the headlights, it lights up again.

 

This even happens when the vehicle is stationary.

 

Does anyone know why? and the solution?

same problem here. possibly ballast issue. got a spare filament and did some test. same situation.... decided to leave it alone... if i realised one side is not working, i will simply switch it off and on again. works everytime.

There are 2 possibilities:

 

Bulbs or Ballast, how to check?

 

1) Swap your bulbs, left to right and vice versa.

2) Test it, if problem is now on the other side, bulb is faulty, change bulb.

3) If problem is still on the same side, ballast problem.
