Here come the poison: I have both PS3 and Wii. I seldom play Wii, except playing Star Wars Lightsaber Duel with my son. Most of the time, I play PS3. Graphics is so so much better. It is a GAMER's machine. Wii is for family. Seriously, how often your family going to play games? Some of my colleagues who bought Wii, also ended up leave it as a white elephant. Think over the weekend... you might not want to buy anymore.... Then come Monday, you get poison again.... Tonight is drinking session night..... already promised all my drinking buddies that I will turn up... a bit hard to lug my BNIB PS3 to the pub lei..... Fireball0088 5th Gear November 6, 2009 Share November 6, 2009 Acherly i hinted a few times to my wife whether can buy PS3..even b4 PS3 slim came out.. she say nonsense la,dun waste $$ la, where got time to play ah..blah2.. when ps3 slim came out with the irresistible offer..i sneaked out to wargames at nite when she's asleep.. quietly remove my xbox,place the ps3 swee on the tv console..box put under the bed... few days later got busted..but her reaction not as bad as i thought.. have never regretted buyin ps3...except having lesser sleeping hours each nite.. btw, how did you get busted? Fireball0088 5th Gear November 6, 2009 Share November 6, 2009 to those who havent bought the ps3: you cant go wrong lah. just buy. i have the wii, and honestly, while its great fun, i was less addicted. the wii interface is truly unique and fun at the same time. Unfortunately, like alot of others have said, it lacks that hardcore gaming feel. Why? because i couldnt swing my arms for hours non-stop!!! how hardcore can you get when you need to rest every 30 minutes? Having said that, the interface is brilliant for just part-time gaming, or if you, like me, love mario for nostalgic reasons, please get the wii. has anybody tried fifa/pes on the wii? i personally think the wii interface is better than any football game ps3 has to offer. but i guess ps3 is also good lah, less tiring.
