Mini Showroom vandalised!!??

Where got vandalise? They're just advertising, lah - "Special my ass" means they're publicising how special their asses are.

 

And very soon, other prisoners in Changi are going to be sharing in that specialness.

Read on the minisg website that maybe there's a connection with the new mini ray car model. because the mini ray is a special edition. is it why the vandals sprayed words like SPECIAL MY ASS??? these guys maybe jealous of it? what u all think?

yes, its all becoming clear now..... i was wondering how he could have a friend who managed to catch so well the group of vandals and at the same time the vandals managed to put up on youtube an exact video from their own point of view, and now he conveniently has another friend who spotted a vandalised mini.

 

so it was all a marketing gimmick after all.

 

i dun care how they do things in the western world, but its in bad taste portraying vandalism and youthful anarchy as something 'cool' in a viral advert in s'pore, unless it is done only on-screen where everybody (mostly) knows its not real, like all the sex and other stuff on tv used for advertizing. but this advert done this way could set off some copycat vandalism acts. and whoever thinks i'm talking nonsense and being too pessimistic, i can take you around and show you some little unsightly graffiti signatures and stuff that pop up in orchard and marina area, obviously done be youths impressed by similar underground western cultures.

 

and if they do spark copycat vandals, complete with youtube uploads, i hope the actual minis owned by the people working in mini doing this gimmick get vandalized first, for real. "Hey, nice graffiti, but why you all do on my car?!" "Er, but we stopped the vandal advert already...." "What?!".

 

 

but in any case, it does appear like an epic fail... i mean their uploaded vandal video gathered only 3000 views in a week, whereas Phua Chu Kang's Ris Low imitation gathered ten times as much in just a few days

obviously a publicity stunt. their people are posting in forums etc, all over the place.
