GoodCar 4th Gear March 22, 2010 Share March 22, 2010 (edited) My CRV 2.0 range from 9.4 to 10.7 km/L depending on traffic condition using Ron 95. I think Cruze FC is reasonable given it's size and European platform. It is a goodcar which is value for money. Davidkopio Neutral Newbie March 22, 2010 Share March 22, 2010 Juz checked with Alpine today. Only less than 10 units of Cruze 1.8 LT model affected by this recall in Singapore.
GoodCar 4th Gear March 22, 2010 Share March 22, 2010 Good to hear that looks like 1.8L model is not popular in Singapore :p
Davidkopio Neutral Newbie March 23, 2010 Share March 23, 2010 Not that 1.8 is not popular.. it's the $15k premiun over the 1.6A model. Heard the FC is better than 1.6A though. Maybe the 1.8 Opel Ecotec engine is more efficient & also a better match for this heavy car.

Picanto 3rd Gear March 27, 2010 Share March 27, 2010 Yesterday was asking the SE about Cruze FC at IMM roadshow. He says easily 12km/L for 1.6AT??? Davidkopio Neutral Newbie March 27, 2010 Share March 27, 2010 you cannot expect people in the sales line to be 100% truthful driving cruze for 2 weeks now... 40% CITY 60% JAMMED HIGHWAY. FC is 9~9.5 km/l. U can achieve 12~14 km/l easily if u travel more hjghway cos this car cone with 6 speeds auto box. Going north next weekend, will update on cruze FC on sgcruze forum. Tigerwoods Turbocharged April 5, 2010 Share April 5, 2010 you cannot expect people in the sales line to be 100% truthful That is Fact, not th Truth. Fact is reporting base on set conditions - 12km/L CAN - accelerate lightly, try maintain speed @70km/H even on Expressways drive on Left lane. Truth is you will never be able to drive like that. Blueblack Neutral Newbie April 5, 2010 Share April 5, 2010 (edited) I'm really amused by people who always talk about FC FC FC Actually fc tell you how good the car is not just engine management system alone - more O2 and fuel sensors tat improve fc. But usually a better car with better fc is also having more feature & safety sensors all over the car, this all add up to the premium of those. So the measurement is not just fc alone... there are more to tat. Edited April 5, 2010 by Blueblack
Thesingingbard Neutral Newbie April 8, 2010 Share April 8, 2010 that's great! coz for CRUZE, recommend to use RON95 Petrol according to manual. so i doubt anybody would pump RON92.

Now 12000 km, yesterday just change syn, hope FC improve I think your 8.8km/l is a bit high FC for a sedan. Mine is SUV. May be you can try checking your tyre pressure is correct and using the correct fuel (RON). City driving and highway driving can also make a big different.
