To wipe dry or not?

Any recommendation on how we can remove water marks?

I would never do that man, unless its wiping down with a QD as lube... maybe.

 

Polish until the clear levels with the watermarks.

 

for those above the clearcoat should be easy with some fine polishes.

use a chamois cloth to clean it. such cloth are specially designed to clean the wetness.

Imagine if everytime it rain, you were to repeat the procedure of taking out a cloth & wipe dry it, won't you think that you have become more like a car slave than a car lover

But if you are really 'On' then you should give your ride a rinse, shampoo then dry it which i feel is the more correct method

 

Last time, my BIL used to take out a cloth & wipe everytime it rain when his ride was new but as time goes by, he don't even bother to do any detailing liao ...

those who hasn't voted, please do so. Just want to have an idea what you guys think.

 

I have friends who wipe dry after every rain. And i also see quite a few ppl drying their cars in the carpark after rain. But they are quite fast, usually take a few mins only.

 

I myself just leave it to dry but the next day when i see my car with many spots of dust sticking on the surface. Especially on the boot.

 

Somemore my ride is black. so it's damn obvious and ugly. But i'm just too lazy.
