Aspec is for fitting it on your car to make your car complete in order for you to drive out of the showroom, straight to the tyres shop to another set. [laugh] It's not meant to be used. I am amazed you used it for 25K. LOL...

Very true....my colleague changed to new aspec DB tyres due to budget price. Within the first week, skidded twice, once in the wet and once in the dry. He's driving a wish, always within the speed limit.

The ONLY good point is the quietness....

14 inch... upsize to 15 inch, 15 inch rims(2nd hand if on budget) and tyre(NEW) package all quite good pricing. Cannot say the same for 16 and above...

1 week? Were the tyres scrubbed in yet?

Definitely not yet....but it's pretty unsettling for him. His old balding tyres also never had this problem...

Thats odd.. i never had any issues with my 195/50R15 Aspec db's younks back on my megane. Mind you, I used to be a very aggressive driver....

Me also find Aspec dB ok. The newer DNA dB also no problem.

Too bad it doesnt come in my 175/65R14 (or maybe its out of stock). I'm settling for the Kumho KH17. Reviews rate it as havnig better grip in both dry and wet than the K415's, yet its quieter, and I am really pleased with the K415's on the Punto. Any idea where I can get Kumho's though?

Sorry, I have not tried Kumho tyre yet...

So which category does KH17 belongs to? The comfort n quiet? The sporty? Or in-between?

Comfy and quiet, but with a grippy compound. Right up the alley of yoko's C Drives

GR80 had always been a good overall performance tyre (bias towards comfort). Let see how this new tyre perform..

at last! it couldn't have come sooner...my tire is almost thinning out... my GR80 has served me well so its natural to go for this GR80 replacement.

juz hope tat it is not too expensive...
