  1. Time to change tires. Am using BS GR90 215/50/17 on a saloon. Happy with it so far but wanted to hear opinions Prefer comfort and quietness. Safety is also important (of course) but I don't need performance tires on a sedate saloon. Anything out there now better than the GR90 based on the above requirements ? Or should I stick with GR90 ? Thanks
  2. http://www.todayonline.com/Car/EDC091128-0...-for-quiescence GR80 had always been a good overall performance tyre (bias towards comfort). Let see how this new tyre perform..
  3. Hi guys, My ride is reaching 35k soon and I noted the wearing out situation on the tyres. I have read around and decided to go for Bridgestone GR90. Any workshops you would recommend and why? On another note, just wanna ask, if you happen to have a punctured tyre on the roads, what would you usually do if your vehicle doesn't have a spare tyre? I heard things like patching and even tolling the car to a workshop. Do we get things like to select which workshop to go to etc? Please enlighten me on this as I lack the experience. Thanks
  4. Deciding between this two. Which one will you get ? Both about same price for 17". Heart goes to GR90 but head sway towards CSC5. Anyone has actual experience on either of them pls share. Thanks !

  7. I have read many of reviews on latest Bridgestone GR90, apart from high pricing, many good comments on it when comparing to GR80, and as a existing GR80 owner, why don't give it a try ? Called a few tyre shops and get this "reasonable" quote (shop owner reminds me to use this term, imho, this is cheap !) from Soh Bro, reach there but no queue (most important to me), and also being served with a cold soft drink like other competitors. Overall in terms of customer's relationship (e.g attitude towards customer), uncle Soh treats customer very well from my 45mins observation (this is my first visit), ok, let's come back to the review : Size : 215/16/60 Price : $175 each inclusive of GST Score 1 - Worse; 10 - Best Noise level : 10/10 (as expected since the rubber is still brand new, will post again when it passes 1000km mark) Handling : 9/10 Comfort : 9/10 Will monitor the performance as the tyre getting run in.
  8. My ride on is on GR80 since day 1 till now it's already 45k... I'm not sure is it time to change. It's still as soft and as quiet. Gripping good or not, actually I really dunno how to test or feel. If its time to change new shoe, I would like something similar. The GR80 was bought at $85 3 yrs ago and now GR90 cost $145 That is almost double the price of GR80 Anything similar performance but lower in price than GR90?
  9. Hi Bros, Anyone knows what's the price for Bridgestone GR90 205/55R16 ? Which shop gives the best deal? Got number to call? Sorry if this has been asked many times already.
