date of reg is 16 Jan 2006, COE is $10,602 and OMV is $18,318. So if second hand convert to OPC, is there any $17000 rebate?..

that's a cheap price for a conti.

few months back on sgcarmart, it was around 70+k brand new.

seems like some conti brands depreciate alot faster and opel is one of them.

i've got this link for everyone's info: http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...916&DL=1178

==============

Looks like a very nice car. If its normal plate then give it a through checking to make sure not involved in a serious accident or has engine etc damage.

I didnt notice it mentioned in the ad that it is "Accident Free".

If all checks out ok, u can try to knock down a couple more $k. Looks like a nice deal then.

rough calculation:

if you register as normal car, current scrape is $21500, parf is $10000. convert to opc you get $1100 every 6 mths. so you get $2200 x 6 remaining years = $13200. you get back $10000 + $13200 at year 10. depreciation for owning this car is $34800 - $23200 if you drive until year 10.
