New York never occur to me as a place for honeymoon

poor thing honeymoon still must see face if only for shopping go Paris or Milan better, in NY nite activities may be restricted. I never been there but I should think so, was in Sydney few years back walking in a busy street at night, a snatch thief happened right next to us where some give chase but the thief hop on to the escape car, since then my wife insist we stay in the hotel for the next 3 nights [bigcry]

How long u intend to stay there?

What u want to see/do?

When u intend to go?

That will determine where u should be staying.

 

Do a online search for hotel bookings, might get some great deals but all dep on when u going and your luck!

As long as u don't stay in Manhattan island, it should not be too costly.

Try to stay over in New Jersey and take the subway into NYC - much cheaper.

 

BTW. If u wanna go to the Statue of Liberty, do book the tickets online.

This allow u the option of getting into the statue and museum itself.

Been a while since I visited it. They seem to limit the number of people into the statue.

Hard to get the access if u go get the ticket at the booth.

If u cannot get the access, u can only tour around the ground of Liberty Island
