Dunno whether it's appropriate to mention the shop name here. This shop has good review @ sgsoundsystem. I just want to know whether I kanna carrot. I got another quote today inclusive installation + tuning for audison SRx 2ch amp, 8" active sub and ESK 165 comp for 1K. Should I go for it?

Look around first and don't jump into it. See and compare the prices from other ICE shops. Attend some ICE meetups and find out more from bros before deciding is never too late.

ICE got to be patient. Don't be pressurized by the shops.

i suggest you try foong audio garage at macpherson road. there is no pressure selling there. i have my soundproofing done at his shop. workmanship is excellent. pricing still can be considered reasonable.

but i have the feeling you dun know what type of sound you want from ICE.

Supersonic

You can try importing from US, then find a local shop to install for you.

It doesn't need to cost that much.

I bought from Amazon, Polk Audio component set for the front, 8" subwoofer and a 400W California Profile amp. They costs around US$400. Add vpost shipping of around $50.

For me, I self-install and build my own sub-box.
