Just Google "How to make 3D glasses" and you will find your answer.

Main ingredient is blue/red cellophane wrap and a pair of used glasses. Problem is where to find the cellophane. :D

if the DIY route is really good enough that i think maybe just DIY :D because the 3D glasses sold by the TV manufacturers are very expensive. If i am not wrong i saw they quoted about at least 85 a pair

yep...samsung just came out with their 37 inch 3Dtv for $3999...

went to harvey norman and the tv guy mentioned panasonic 3Dtv will be out end of this month and LG in may/june...so better not buy first so can compare prices. If need to buy 3D glasses need to buy the tv first then order extra pairs at <$100 per pair. If din buy TV, they will charge $200 per pair.

Thanks guys for all the replies...

Hmm... the one they show on the shops here, are they using the red/blue red/cyan type spec or is it the more advance type where the spec is an LCD electronic shutter and the LCD TV is running at 120 Hz?
