Ladykillerz 4th Gear April 21, 2010 Share April 21, 2010 (edited) layman's term for typical drive. 0km to 1,000km: 1st mineral oil [run in] 1,001 to 5,000km: 2nd mineral oil [run in] 5,001km to 10,000km: 3rd mineral oil [run in] 10,001km onwards: fully synthetic oil (w20,w30) 70,001km onwards: fully synthetic oil (w40) - protect engine >1xx,xxxkm onwards: semi-synthetic oil should be enough actually 15,000km onwards should be the best point for a full complete run in. =p Edited April 21, 2010 by Ladykillerz ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
