Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 20, 2010 Share May 20, 2010 (edited) hey guys anyone using adroid phones any apps to recommend? thanks My List Widgets: Facebook 4x2 Twitter 4x2 or 4x1 Power Control 4x1 - Used as a one touch to control backlighting. wifi, gps, etc Android Agenda (Very customisable from 2x2 to 4x4)- Calender Widget that syncs with GCal Background Running Apps: Advanced Task Killer for task management Seven for pushmail (this one is not from the marketplace. you have to go to their website www.seven.com, and follow till you get to the right page to download via your phone browser) Apps: Beem- For FB Chat via XMPP Nimbuzz- Best MSN client for android I've found, too bad doesnt handle FB chat via its native XMPP protocol thus Beem FX Camera- Camera client with filters (e.g. polaroid, toy cam, fish eye, etc) Mobisle Notes- Note and To-do list maker Shazam- Song identification A Online Radio- Think this one is self explanatory Neta Share- RSS Reader. Can be set to auto update on Wifi only so it doesnt notify me when I'm not at home. Show Nearby- Nearby business/shop listings via location Air Horn- Self explanatory. I've been using it at restaurants/cafes with staff that think you're invisible History Eraser- clears your search list (which can get really long) from the phone. Pic Say- Photo "Editor" that allows u to place text bubbles etc Noteable Games: Abduction Word Search Fish Food Bonsai Blast Classic Simon Andrix Connect 4 Slugs My Paper Plane Noteable Apps (Good to have if your activities could use them) Google Sky- For stargazers like me c:geo- geocaching app Training Timer- For those that do interval or tabata training Google Googles- Kind of like a barcode scanner, but it works with stuff besides barcodes. P.S. I almost forgot the 3 (a.k.a. cubed) music player!!! P.P.S. Welcome to the ANDROID Army Edited May 20, 2010 by Elfenstar
