Ken4555 1st Gear June 6, 2010 Share June 6, 2010 I was at DFM yesterday getting a quote for wrapping... the matte version is more wu hua. if matt flat black version your paintwork must not hv deep scratches or chipped paintowrk... if you refering to dry CF 3m type, it can cover even deep scratches... and skill involved is to be taken note of... lousy workmanship will get bubbles, some so small cant see but under the sun will grow bigger... some edges anyhow cut... some over heat the sticker till out of shape... best GET a real carbon fiber bonnet... racecraft got cheap n expensive ones... S-gt Neutral Newbie June 6, 2010 Share June 6, 2010 Cheap Cf bonnet might not be a good idea as well, stay stock. Expensive type will need extra care & maint else will be dull as well and not forgetting the scratch marked, stone chipped & attract attention from both good and bad side. These will make one heart pain to change another onessssss. Stay stock put on 3M in term of practicality . Best options over CFB to cover existing scratches, ease on washing, less on scratches and making it more appealing, plus you can change yr "taste" every now and then unlike the real CF bonnet... . I can change 5 times of CF Sticker over 1 time of CFB... (IMHO)

(IMHO) if looks are wat you are looking for.. sure.. real CF saves a lot of weight... after it becomes dull can re-spary colour mah... cheap ones or JB can get S$5-6 hundred for some models i saw... maybe not as good as the expensive ones...
