Some P-plates might not be really p-plate also. I have an uncle that just want to leave the p-plate on his car. Since he passed 5+ years ago he has left it there all the time.

It's amusing to see some people trying hard to justify his 'neutral' views in a juvenile way. Get out of your wobbly superiority complex. And no, I was not believing that your comments are against me at all. I was just stating the plains facts.

nah i dont have a superiority complex. just that in that situation, that joker wanted to hao lian, he didnt have the gear to hao lian in, thus i see him no up. simple as that.

where in my post did i say that all red platers have attitude problems and are a bane to the roads? plain facts? more like stating your biased one sided opinions.

once again, think big and get out of your inferiority complex. again i state that not everyone are against you. if i had one i would have already chased the joker down and slammed the brakes on him. but then again, i dont.

and this was a post against a driver who was driving badly. unless you are the driver in the subaru, i suggest we keep things to topic and discuss about the main point of the thread. would you be angered if someone did that to you? dun care red plate, black plate, yellow plate, white plate. hell, you can be colorblind and still be incredibly pissed off, wouldnt you

it's just nice that the driver in case was a p-plater driving a red plate. if it was a black plate i'd still have posted this.

hey guys, mind sparing the p-plates....there are nice and courteous p-plates out there.....but it is because of all the unfriendly treatment by the older birds that made them throw all the things that they learnt in driving school and start to cut here and there.....i personally think it has to do with the person, irregardless of p plate or no p plate, red plate or black plate, or makes of the car. . .. [;)]

all drivers should practice common sense on the road. people who respects others gets respected in return. the driver in the subaru in my first post, however, deserves none of my, and perhaps the rest of the world's recognition.

lets ask this question. taxi drivers are hated. are they p platers? are they red plates? both no. what ultimately makes them disliked boils down to character and driving habits.

The red plate owners are a frisky bunch, they feel they have a point to prove to the world. mention it together with any bad driving habits and hell be on you!!!

It's an attitude problem and a matter of courtesy on the roads. What has red plate or black plate got to do with it? Black plates also have their fair share of darned drivers. Are you trying to make scoffing remarks to make yourself feel superior?

The kinda mentality some of us have when encountering red plate cars especially "that" guy doing stupid stances as mentioned;it is driver wanna play with cars but cannot afford but a OPC ,furthermore wanna act big on the roads????? Frankly speaking I dun look down on OPC but having such an attitude just made himself a laughing stock to fellow drivers.

OPC BTW is a very good driving opportunity for family who wanna a budget transport.... [rolleyes] [rolleyes] [rolleyes]

Subaru? [:p] Maybe that is Ah Huat on his way to the morning fish market to bid for killer whale? :D

I can understand why you post this thread after encountering this moron. Frankly I ve seen idiotic drivers of all marques, but I had to say nothing can beat Subaru in terms of the sheer number of incidents I ve seen on the roads. Something is wrong with their mentality, or lack of some form of security. Something about that brand or their dumbest advertisement seem to attract some kind of physcho to drive these cars. I can almost confidently say that each time I drive up the arse of a subaru, unless the diameter of the exhaust is smaller 2.5 or 3 inch, the next moment thar car will start a serious of road stunts. [rolleyes]

What to do?For me its aint matter of red plate or p-plate,Its the attitude of the driver itself.I've ever encountered a young punk driving a souped up BMW horn me in left lane for nothing even though its a 60kmh limit road and i'm driving 70?I was so fed up that i jam my brake and came out from my MPV for explanation while he didnt have the guts to come out and dangerously swerve to other lane to flee..WTF is coming to SG drivers nowadays?

LOL...you have seen keyboard warriors and now u also seen steering wheel warriors...if only u scare him good enuff to make him not do it again..that will be so damn great

This kind of behaviour are unexplainable.

A LancerEX abruptly cut into my lane at a fast speed the other day. Almost touching 1/4 of my car front already, so I braked and honked at the driver to warn him of the stunt he chooted.

I was travelling at way above speed limit on the left lane. He showed me the finger. [rolleyes]

I had to jam brake from a toyota wish i think...

story:

I kanna horn. while waiting for 1 person crossing the road.

he cannot see is his problem.

then i travel with speed limit which is 50 kph on 2 lane road.

stop at traffic light on red.

he stop beside me and stare at me.

I heck care.

light turn green.

he rev, i rev.

I pick up almost same,

I stop reving on 60kph.

he continue and cut into my lane when he is 0.5 m ahead of me without signalling

i was shocked, i jammed my brake.

seem like he wanna cut and let me hit him or something to teach me a lesson.

not to mess with him or something... farker

I was then behind him.

he turn without signalling...

car spoilt or driver problem?

i dunno, but with these driver on the road

how safe can our road be?

buy good car acting like hooligan

good thing that he is not subaru owner,

SG drivers are too finger-happy these days. Don't remember people showing finger so much on the roads in the past. [thumbsdown]

The way he drove sounds almost like he was a taxi driver.

Maybe need to cut you cos he saw someone flagging a cab <_<

nope, purely a c0cky driver behind the wheel of wish.

not all cabs are bad...

at least some cabs do signal.

he fellow is something else.

I dun mind racing him for a bit.

but to ram me and reckless driving to proof his car better than mine?

how did he pass his driving license?

filtering towards me side by side without signalling.

Good thing he belongs to small group of the drivers in singapore.

if not singapore road will be dangerous.

I think most SG drivers drive totally different from the way they did to pass the driving test. After passing, can speed, forget about signal, etc.
