Ky13 Clutched June 15, 2010 Share June 15, 2010 will doing this change(coilover) reduce the resale value of the car? If you sell your car to dealer, your car has no value to start with. Whether or not your car is modifed or used to be modified or stock, the dealer will just pay you at most a few grands higher than the paper value. For private sales, it depends. Most buyers'd prefer to buy 2nd hand car in stock condition. Anyway, you can always change everything back to stock before selling your car.

Wakloun Neutral Newbie March 20, 2014 Share March 20, 2014 for me i go for lowering spring... replacing to coilover will makes the ride very bumpy...
Jiex 2nd Gear March 24, 2014 Share March 24, 2014 Lowering springs will wear out the absorber faster and there will be more headache down the road. I tried with lowering springs with stock absorber in the past but end up with coilover. Try to get a set of properly matched springs+absorber, coilover or don't do anything ↡ Advertisement
