i once saw a JJ Lin ad/poster for his concert

 

the words "WORLD TOUR" were splashed over the ad

 

at first i am impressed, this kid is taking on the world!!

 

then on further inspection, realised his "World" is only limited to 1 continent...

 

not even the entire 1 continent, just a small sector of 1 continent...

 

 

 

I'm not belittling his feat of breaking into a few chinese speaking countries, but just that the term "World Tour" shouldn't be brandished about loosely like he did.

 

a few gigs in a few countries is by no means a world tour...

 

for a world tour, i am thinking about the likes of U2, MJ, Bon Jovi where they really travel the world, spanning several continents and lots of cities
