wow! i ever ask the lady over LTA counter when i go there to collect back my unsuccessful bid check. i ask how much did the successful bidder pay for the number i wanted. she couldnt tell me the amount but i remembers she said a customer tried bidding for 7272 for $6K but still didnt get it. that was about 1 yr ago. Should be SJT7272.

usually between $1001 and $1500 for a nice number 7272, 8833 etc. single digits range from 5k to 30k over for No.1

my family prefer having the same or similar numbers for our cars. so we always bid for them.

 

not those ultra expensive numbers, those 1k+ ~ 2k or 3k, nothing higher.

 

all 8s and 3s.. and all rear letters are the same

that lady lying la! very hard to believe for a 4 digit no. somemore not the same number

Just flip the Saturday classified ad and look under the car number advertisment.

2 digit no selling around S$2.5K to S$3K.

 

There are many car agent doing that.

they just anyhow place a minmum bid. Example : S$1.8K for a 2-digit.

If unsussceful, they will use it for the next round bid

I do track the trending of the first bid. normally, 1 to 40 will be gone within that week. but i ever see 911 still available after the first bid but it was gone the next week.......
