I rmb reading somewhere that you should check on the servicing report/card to be double sure that the mileage on the vehicle matches that on the servicing records. There's a tendency that 2nd hand dealers may go adjust the mileage in the vehicle so as to reflect that the car is very low in its mileage.

yuppi...will be calling C&C..hope owner did it at the AD..if not den see report card lo..no way we can check thru eyes de right..

so is cvt better??on a budget ride..actually gt any is better than lancer??cheaper n good?

cvt supposed to be more smooth but somehow on the glx, there has been feedback that it feels really dead..tats also why the later lancer MR act came in 4sp auto...if u r looking at the 06-07 cars, i thk this MIJ car is the cheapest u can get...

if u ask me as a 4.5yrs glx owner, i say go for it...no regrets...

its cheap dun worry...$200-300 shd do.

as for major servicing like timing belt, wat some pple do is buy the timing belt set fr the stockist at $200 then pay workmanship of $100 plus servicing, everything shd b $400-500. this is only 1 time at 80k intervals.

ya, i'm been driving lancer glx manual for 6 yrs loh and still doing good. during this 6 yrs of ownership, i change the radiator and air con compressor (both spolit) in the 5 yr. the rest of the maintenance are regular servicings and timing belt change every 80k.

and my lancer already 160k+ km loh.

no bro i drive manual..ya the 400-500 for timing belt change at outside wkshop which is plenty cos the GLX is actually an 90s car tech in disguise so most decent wkshops can handle [laugh]

for the headunit u can go to simlim tower..there are plenty to choose from. installation wil be another 50.

a 4k pa depn shd b reasonable..anyw there are many for sale incl fr private sellers so take ur time to choose. mods aside...its a good decent car... [:)]

i was in the same position as you a few weeks back.

looking for a vehicle to run from place to place. got a few choices in mind, namely vios FL, latio sports, lancer cs3.

the vios was pretty cramp at the rear seats. spaciousness was one of my main needs with a reasonable boot space

viewed and test drove a few units as ubi carmart and ultimately decided on the latio sports in the end.

jus curious, have u collected the car already? :D

Seems like the resale market is very active.

TS was wise to buy to buy the lancer. In terms of traffic light rally, sure lose to sonata cabs but in trms of FC, reliability etc no horse run. Get oneh sunroof if possible. Adds to the driving satisfaction.

FYI now u want to buy at C&C also cannot find liao. The car has reached end of life already. So you will be one of the dwindling pools of folks who own this make. Sadly C&C positioning the 1.5 EX as the entry level car for mitsu these days.

What colour is yours?nd once again thumbs up and congrats. [sunny]
