Hi,

I am using clarion unit and was trying to tune the crossover, but there is a problem when I do the below setting

For my mid

HPF 2kHz

LPF 80Hz or 63 Hz

there will be cracking sound from the speaker when certain music is played. Is it because my speaker is spoilt?

But when I set my mids to the below

HPF 2kHz

LPF Through

there will be no cracking sound but then the mid is not so punchy.

Anyone know whats wrong?

I checked for my CDT ES, the range is from 60-6000Hz. So if I set to 63Hz should be ok .
