13177 Hypersonic November 19, 2010 Share November 19, 2010 (edited) Always taking the easy way out catching harmless jaywalkers. When it comes to chasing down speeding vans and lorries, I don't see them so on the ball. The entire police force is on the limelight recently for all the wrong reasons. Resurgence of teen gangs, accidents involving commercial/heavy vehicles on the rise ... etc, interesting to know what they have been doing in the past. And in the past, the mention of "policeman will catch you" to small kids, they'll seem to be frightened off, tell that to a kid now and chances are he'll challenge the policeman to catch him. True. Nowadays it seems like TP doesn't really catch those speeding vans/lorries on the rd! Maybe they need to wait for another serious major accident involving those vans/lorries, then they will "do something" abt it! Same as the recent teens gangs fight. Only when 2 major incidence happened then they so called decided to tighten/enforce the law on teens gang! Apvman 2nd Gear November 19, 2010 Share November 19, 2010 Resurgence of teen gangs, accidents involving commercial/heavy vehicles on the rise - This is more because of media coverages and the wide usage of technology that enables such news to be posted easily and quickly online. Social networking has caused this news to spread quickly giving people's impression that this type of incidents have surge but in fact it's not. How do u know that such crimes are in the low occurances then? Let me put it in another way. Long long time when internet and media coverage are not that wide, there are little coverages on such crimes and thus gives u the impression that such crimes are under controllered but it is not... Dont misled pple lah. If you dont know how to swim, then dont say your swimming costume is too big for you....:P

If you dont know how to swim, then dont say your swimming costume is too big for you....:P I think you misinterpret and need to re-read, never in my post did I mentioned its in low occurrence. And in no way I misled people, it's up to people's interpretation and everyone has their own views. And you contradict yourself by saying it's not under controlled previously. That's what i'm trying to highlight, it's never a resurgent. If you cant swim properly don't try to teach others how to swim.
