Reaching the top of the Wembley steps, the adrenaline still pumping and the euphoria building, you wrap your hands tightly around the glistening handles. With lips pursed, you slowly turn around, plant a loving kiss on the trophy and hoist it above your head to the thunderous applause of a partisan crowd.

Spurs pushing for 3 signings

Andy Carroll, Phil Neville and Scott Parker, said a jorno with Times.

parker is good.

neville is over the hill. but still useful for a few season i guess

carroll is over rated to say the least.

With the top 4 teams all winning this morning, Spurs needs to beat Blackburn tonite to stay in contention. It looks uphill with a weak defence lineup, Bale and Hudderstone out, VDV looking complacent, Defoe anything but finding the back of net...etc.

Fingers crossed.... [sweatdrop]

Good results against Blackburn and BW though, for the latter, it was a nail-biting finish. The icing on the cake is really the favourable results from the draws and losses for the tops teams over the weekend. Spurs is still plagued by a lack of potent finishing in their strikeforce. This is a dept which Harry should have strenghtened at last transfer window. I suppose he is keeping faith with the 3 strikers (since he could even afford to offload one to WH) and unlike other teams, his attacking midfielders have depth, speed, precision and finishing to tip games. Looking forward to the Sunderland game and the big CL match... :D

Tough game against Sunderland tomorrow. Bale and VDV are undergoing a late fitness test and they may/may not travel with team to the Stadium of Lights. Modric is still out. Hope the boys can carve out a crucial win there. :D

Other results to watch is MU vs MC. Not a fan of either but hope MC goes down so that the 4th CL spot is closer.

harry bought him only because he's cheap not that he needs him.

spurs so many winger/AM... buy another winger/AM for what ?

[laugh]

as you said, it's a odd buy

for more options maybe? Pienaar not really a "run v fast to the byline and cross" kind of winger right?

Coys.....

With vdv, bale and modric out injured. I hope kracjar gets to start ahead of pinear.

Let's win Sunderland.

Btw, kinda upset spurs still not sorting out their stadium plans. Definately need a bigger stadium. 55000 at least. So many more fans to fill up a bigger stadium.
