Normally with compound like Meeg 105 or Menzerna Power Gloss to remove severe water mark and scratches; or after sanding the car (after spray painting). And their favourite is G3 from Farecla. That's twisted wool. Then also have lambs wool, less cut. But there are some very soft wool, that is for polishing or even glazing. e.g. 3M or the EDGE (www.autogeek.net).
