Friendstar Supercharged June 6, 2011 Share June 6, 2011 Quality wise, it is no issue. But u have to bear with the hard plastics all round. I love the macho look of the ride. Unfortunately the poor FC forced me to sell after 3 years. Potential buyers should bear that in mind, since oil prices will be moving upwards in months to come. from a 9-10km/litre car, u change to wat FC car? even if its 12-14km/litre, i don't think it makes logical sense to change..... unless other factors are involved like backside itch etc. ↡ Advertisement

Coolpica 4th Gear June 6, 2011 Share June 6, 2011 I changed to a Avante. In the end I reckon that my 3rd row of seats isn't being used that often to have a 7 seater. My FC now is about 12-13km/L.
Gothviruz Neutral Newbie July 23, 2011 Share July 23, 2011 Just got myself a 3 yr old T7. my family appreciates the 7 seater, last row can fit 2 adults with a wheelchair at the rear. I can't complain much abt the pick up since it's a 1.5l 7 seater SUV. It's a 'give and take' situation. Overall I find the car very spacious and reasonable for the price I got it
Tayspiderx 3rd Gear July 23, 2011 Share July 23, 2011 It's a good buy in all, can fit 7 safely across orchard flood. Thou the leather wrapping I saw at showroom got some quality issues.
Picanto 3rd Gear July 24, 2011 Share July 24, 2011 Looking at budget 7 seaters and a change from my past sedan cars. T7 caught my eyes cos of its SUV yet 7 seaters and within my budget. I can try "suvmpv" 1 shot. 1.5L should be under power but it also save road tax like the freed, sienta and apv. any feedback on this auto Terios 7? quality built? problems? etc... give it up because its made in indonesia
Sam_wong_cm Clutched July 27, 2011 Share July 27, 2011 My Sienta also 1.5 auto can give me 14 to 16 km/l.

Thunderplash Neutral Newbie April 7, 2012 Share April 7, 2012 I sold of my 2007 vios for 2008 T7(A) last year and been achieving an average 11.2km/L. Usage = 40% city + 60% highway. Daily sit 2 pax and really need to occupy 6 pax twice a week. A child seat is permanently secured behind the driver's seat. Of course you can't compare the power; I'm not a racer, more of family man. But when I need to pick up speed occasionally, I just drop gear. End of the day, I achieve my transportation needs and my family likes it. If you compare to a 2L SUV with similar FC, I still pay lesser road tax & insurance with more capacity of pax. If I can afford, of course will go for better car. It all depends on our affordability & requirement. At least made in Indon, not in China...
Mjklbkldl 1st Gear April 7, 2012 Share April 7, 2012 I am also considering the Terios 7 auto. Just need a 7 seater for the occassional weekends when more family members can come along. Thinking also of the Exora Bold from Proton which has turbo with CVT, but as its relatively new, I am not sure about the reliability. Just want a budget 7 seater for point A->B. At least Terios is Japanese technology and the car is acclimatized to the tropical conditions already, being sold in Indonesia. Will you all consider Terios 7 ? Lilblackrabbit Neutral Newbie April 7, 2012 Share April 7, 2012 (edited) For a budget people mover, most important is comfort n reliability. If T7 can give u these 2 qualities, why not? The price is good in today's context ( for a new car ). Edited April 7, 2012 by Lilblackrabbit
Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear April 7, 2012 Share April 7, 2012 Agreed that Terios/Rush not a comfortable car to sit, esp the rear seat. I sit in a terios before, the whole ride very uncomfortable, engine noise very loud, and as if i was sitting in a lorry. The only thing good about this car is it is 4WD and it is a quite a solid and safe car. So sorry, T7 FWD only

Colin03 4th Gear February 10, 2013 Share February 10, 2013 Hi friend - so what i syour final decision and feedback on your 7 seater car finding . Reason as I am looking for a 7 seater too prefer a higher seating position too.
Mjklbkldl 1st Gear June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 My apologies as I seldom log in but realised you post a question to me. By now, you must have bought yourself a 7 seater ?! I ended up with a sedan instead, and a creative solution for the family's needs, so no need MPV for now. But for me, I will say if you can bear the ultra slow Terios 7, but value its reliability, go for it...ditto for the Suzuki APV. However, if you want a lot of car/space for your $, the Proton Exora Turbo is the one! Very nice car, really. And by now, the initial hiccups should have been resolved. Any issues, you have a lot of workshops in Malaysia to support this model. Reliability may not be as solid (?) as the Jap brands ... but then again, one gets a lemon at times. Proton exports the Exora to a few countries, so they also cannot afford to get this wrong too much. I will be happy with an Exora, but some Korean MPVs like Orlando from Chevy are encroaching on the positioning and price point of the Exora. ↡ Advertisement
