Ilmw 1st Gear July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 How do you guys try out the tyres so quickly? Change even when tyres still new? Like trade in to tyre shop? Or go track and wear out the tyres faster to justify a change? I also keen to try the various tyres that suit my car and driving style. but a tyre can last two years, and within the five years car lifespan, at most change once, that is provided I use the original tyres that came with the car! So only one chance to try alternative tyres for that parricular car. How u guys get to try so many tyres is really beyond my understanding. i agree!! Also, what abt cost/benefit comparison? Sure, some tires are super fantastic, but at what cost? Since tires are utility/expendable (like rice, mobile phone plan, etc), shouldn't price be taken into consideration? ↡ Advertisement

Jchuacl Clutched July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 I clocked 40k a year, so no problems in changing a new set of tyres for each year. In 1 months time, I'll be on my 14th set of tyres.
