Superb acting...storyline/plot and really nothing else but praise for this show. Truly a magnificent and realistic love story. Prefer the first one based in 1800s. and how can you call the love plot realistic??? LOL that's my personal view, as stated. I like both but still prefer this one. The love plot is realistic to me because it is something believable...I strongly believe that one can sacrifice a lot for their loved ones...especially during those turbulent times when loyalty and the will to protect your loved ones in order to survive are particularly important. I think for part 1, the stronger main actor was 材九哥. For part 2, it's 九姑娘 who steals the show and limelight. She rightly deserve to have won the best actress during 2010 TVB awards.
