Going active on oem headunit

Hi all, any1 on any brand of processor like audison bit 1 that can be use on OEM headunit to go active?

i am thinking of doing that but need more info like brands and other things needed to go active,

currently on passive setup

If you just want to go active without changing headunit or adding processor, you can consider getting those active crossovers. But those are rare in the local context.

I know the SQ I'll not be as good as those pioneer or alpine headunit, I dun want to change to another headunit as I like the outlook of the oem 1.

Nowaday car mostly fitted with it so by removing it is like removing a security protection. Correct me I am wrong

yes can. mine is like that.

Sorry I'm not using an active crossover, so can't make any recommendations. A quick search on google should be able to help.

Alpine new H800 no stock. It sure can fit any HU.

If novice, probably can try JBL MS-8. I;m using and fine for me, except tuner asking me to switch to Alpine since i upgraded to high-end speakers n amps now.

Will be glad to continue my MS-8 after completing upgrade today, and monitor.

U will need a processor like Audison Bit-1/10, H701/800, MS8 etc. These processors are capable of going 3-way active. What speakers are u using? There is a lot more to ICE then going 3-way active. Suggest u take it one step at a time. There are many components involved to get it sounding correct. Interconnects, speaker cables, power cables 0 gauge,4 gauge, grounding, SP and many other things, installer has also got to be top notch or else u will be worst off then when u started. My 2 cents worth.

Paid$1200 for MS8 few months ago.

Just upgraded new new Alpine H800, imaging is superb.
