However, till today I'm still using the old 50 Mbps as M1 claimed that OpeNet has not laid the new cable to my flat notwithstanding the cable had already been laid to my unit and tested. I would like to find out from fellow MCFers if anyone living in the west has encountered this problem and if so, do you just wait or who else you can approach to resolve such issues? Thanks. I am on StinkTel, also upgraded from ADSL to Fibre. In fact, they were trying to "force" me into earlier slot which is one week away, but I delayed my appointment to 3 weeks later. If your unit is already laid with termination point (at least one month ago), it's as soon as they can do it kind of thing. Nothing to do with OpenNet. Same problem here, called M1 and they claimed that it is OpenNet side, two appointment from OpenNet to come to my place and still unable to resolve the issue of no signal from port 2. New cable? OpeNet will only lay ONE cable, and go to your place once. Upgrade of plans are all done back end over at M1, you may want to check with them again. These CSO sometime just anyhow. I signed up for 200Mbps plan, but only get like 20Mbps, called them up and the CSO told me because my computer old, can only support up to 100Mbps. I asked why only 20Mbps, he said will check, next day I can get 80Mbps, occasionally above 100Mbps. so funny...lol Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hi Shadow, I stay at Bukit Panjang area. Signup recontract from 100Mbps to 200Mbps on 31th Aug, done installation today from NC modem to M1 modem.
