O2 sensor also don't need heater,it is in the exhausts downpipe, hot enough already.

2 types of O2 sensors...one is heated type...another is not.

Hmm many of you guys experiences seems to come from faulty O2 sensors? May i know what exactly does this sensor do for our cars? I am thinking to ignore the problem until the next servicing which is about 3 months later, but at the same time i do not know if it will cause any long term damage to my car [sweatdrop]. Anyway how much in estimation for a typical OBD2 diagnostic test, and say the cost to change the O2 sensor? (if that's indeed the problem of course, i'm aware it may be other problems causing the light as well)

Cheers!

Keep driving. The lights will clear by itself if you did not experience any problem. Maybe petrol quality issues. I've this problem before topping up SPC. After move to ESSO, problem resolved.

Same problem here. Mine is the other way round, keep pumping Esso 5000 will result in the engine check light on. Drive for a few days, the light will go off by itself. Even before i start telling the problem to the AD, he already asked me whether i have a habit of pumping Esso 5000. So i guess its a common problem among some rides.
