Neutral Newbie

Received my set today via the groupbuy. Made the payment to the seller on Sunday night. Set was sent out from Korea on Monday afternoon. The set landed in Singapore on Tuesday early morning. Arrived at Speedpost sorting centre on Wednesday early morning, and I received the set in the afternoon.

kudos to the seller for the speedy shipment and to Adrian for organising the GB.

Next step is to install the set.

Itronics will be releasing a new model soon: ITB-100HD SP

http://ipassmall.co.kr/ipassblack/product01_100hd_sp.asp

So, the price of ITB-100HD is expected to drop once this model available in the market. So, for those who are not in urgent need of a DVR, you may either wait for the price drop for the current model or wait to get the new model.

This one looks much better with 30fps. They also know that when u pause a video between 24fps and 30fps, 30fps will be much superior. [laugh]

What is the difference between SP (Smart Plus) and current version (cannot read Korean) ?

Appearance wise, they look the same. By the way, today, ITB-100HD is it using SDcard or microSD card ? The SP version seems to be using SDcard.

Thanks

Cheers,

I have installed the newest FW and waiting to see the difference.

Understand we need a empty SD card to put the new fw and insert into the camera so that it will auto re-flash to the latest fw code.

Not sure did you format you card use a PC or need the PC player to format it? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

So long as I see N,E and P in the software, that means working perfectly.

Do you guys remove the camera when park under hot sun? Because seeing the Korean manual (don't understand the language), one of the picture not sure is it trying to say avoid hot sun to the camera or UPC.

So far happy with this camera compare to my previous one, angle coverage also better, previous only 120 deg.

Although having bad experience with the installation, but I have gained the knowledge and experience and this will help me in future.

Also guys I got a Q. Lets say.. The cera detect "someone bang" the car video clip, will it save it into somewhere where it is protected n won't b deleted away? Else is the "E" file won't be deleted?..

Also I realize that there always another file with the video, any idea what does it do?

Also this camera does not had axle control ya, meaning it won't tell where the impact coming from which direction ya?..

hi guys, yesterday i asked few of my friends to "WALK near my car", and making some "big actions"..but we did not touch the car though..

When i view that clip, it classified under"PARK" only...but there an orange shade in some of the time frame area..

so meaning, if those "big actions" are actually scratching my car...then it consider not classified under the right folder..?

Yes, i format the 8GB card using the PC player then i copied the FW into the card. Once done, insert SD card into the camera and you will hear a sequence of long beeps then follow by the power up beeps and it is done.

You can cross check the FW version under the PC player general settings tab and you can see the FW is ver2.1.

Hope it helps you.
