  1. Hi, As I have previously parked at First World Hotel multi-storey carpark, I find it's rather challenging due to the narrow ramp going up/down between levels. I heard that there's another carpark @ Maxim which is bigger and easier to park. However, it seems to be reserve for VIP and gold members. Just to check with you guys, anybody ever parked at Maxim hotel before? Do you really need to be VIP or gold member? Thanks

360 cam is not really a safety feature but rather an assist only. It will show up on your screen when you engage the reverse gear OR you manually press the "DISP" button.

Just went yesterday, not sure how much truth in it. With less than 1 month of arrival, more than 100 orders have been placed as shared by sales. When I was there, there were a few group of people waiting to test drive Serena. What I find strange is that, seems like nobody ever mentioned the "humming noise" when it charges the battery? Difficult to explain the noise in words but sounds something like an old aircon compressor. Can be quite irritating at times. In fact, during test drive, the sales will try to increase the volume of the radio on multiple attempt to mask the noise. And for the last/3rd row, seems bouncy and on long distance driving, maybe uncomfortable. This is probably due to the seats @ 3rd row designed to fold sideway /upwards instead of folding forward.

Based on the youtube video explaining e-power, the engine is connected to the generator which in turn charge the battery. In the event of low battery, the generator can supply both electric motor and battery. So if that's true, theoretically, even with battery dead, still can move with just engine running alone.

Maybe Nissan is enjoying the leadership of e-Power, thus, they can offer anything they like to the market. Not sure whether any other carmakers will embark on the journey of e-Power, if yes, then we still start to see competition in term of specs, price and performance.

Thanks for the info. So sad that they removed some features (e.g. electronic parking brake, LED DRL and electric/memory seat) which are not easy or possible to add in manually aftermarket.

The price range slated between SGD 140~180K inclusive of COE previously. Have they finalized the price? And also, does it comes with electronic brake or still foot brake? Size wise, is it something like Toyota Noah and/or Honda Stepwagon? I saw a review @ YouTube that mentioned there will be "fake noise" generated for speed below 30km/h due to the "almost noiseless" state of the car and it couldn't be turn off (unlike Nissan Note). Is that also true for Singapore version?

Najib Announce VEP for Spore cars!

For my case, not, I register TnG app only after receiving that email which notified me that I can start to book for appointment. Anyway, without registering TnG app, you will not be able to go into the system to book any appointment. In short, no need but since you need it anyway, might as well just do it now.

Najib Announce VEP for Spore cars!

Maybe they have think ahead of those "smelly leg" (direct translation from hokkien) cases whereby offenders refused to settle their outstanding summon by changing car or expired VEP tag (after 5 years). So no matter which car you change to, you need to repeat the same registration/tagging process with the SAME NRIC which they can still track you upon entry. I'm not sure whether are you allow to register a VEP tag using somebody else credentials but the vehicle log card belong to you.
