Need to clear some doubts over the Dupont 3 and 5 part model 1) The answers form the 2 models will be similar ? 2) the calculation on the leverage factor: it is definded as total assets in 2012 / total equity in 2012 OR total assets (2012) / total equity (2011)? ↡ Advertisement
Dumb 4th Gear November 10, 2012 Share November 10, 2012 Any accountants/ finance managers around ???? What this Dupont? Dupont lighter I have. Dupont pen I also have. But these presents are not much use to me as I dont use them. But common sense tells me you need to divide 2012 over 2012 as whatever the leverage factor it is at a point of time and it doesn't make sense to divide assets at one point of time with equity with another point of time. But ha ha I am dumb.
