I am planning to get a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 or Note 10.1 but i am still comtemplating between the 2 of them as the price differs around $300.

 

The main difference is basically the S pen function and quad core (note) vs dual core (tab 2).

 

The purpose of the tablet will be most likely for leisure such as light gaming, streaming video and surfing net.

Go for Note 10.1... I'm using it... never had to bring a pen and paper to meeting anymore..

any noticeable difference in terms of chipset performance eg lag?

go for note 10.1u wont look back....though i have neither....
