Paternity Leave

What would be the appropriate length of paternity leave?

Balance between family and company.

 

It feels like 6months a bit long for me especially when it is paid leave.

6 months paternity leave?that's insane.if those europeans carry on like this with all the wonderful benefits and welfare.the euro will probaby ends up like africa of 21st century.

We will have to look at their economic maturity and politics to do such comparisons. If you look at their working hours per week, 35hours I heard, and lots of social welfare, imagine how much tax they are paying. Nothing comes free.

 

Question is how long can their sustain such welfare w/o hurting their economy and what will happen if this method is economically not viable and they decide to remove it.

all in wish in SG we get 6 weeks... that's good enuf...
