Anyone ever bought clothes from zalora, singsale and other similar online shopping sites?

How do you determine if the sizes fit you? Some of the brands can't be found locally. So I can't visit the stores to try out their fitting.

They have a sizing chart which is pretty accurate. But end of the day, that's the risk of an online purchase compared to brick and motar store la

Always do measurement before purchase. Its a hassle to return imo.

For US based site, always go 1 size down because US guys are generally bigger in size. For Korean size, always go 1 size bigger.

E.g. i wear size S, i will buy XS if i purchase at ASOS or other US based sites.

Anyway i have yet to try Zalora. I think the price is not that attractive. I preferred shopping at G-market although quality is not as good as Zalora but heck, it's cheaper.

zalora doesnt seem to have accurate sizing chart. emailed them 3 times regarding the length, width of the bermuda but no reply. they only put S M L size ... and such sizing can varies between brands.

i think its a hassle to go post office n do a refund provided u stay near post office.

i find that in sg, we can easily buy clothes at shopping malls..no pt take risk.

wah...lucky saw this. was jus looking thru singsale. n had aimed for a shirt. only M size available n i tot can wear, cos model wearing M. but seems like its not true at all.

If you have broad shoulders, muscular chest and arms, buy at least 1 or 2 size up.. I cannot be sure for all brands under Singsale, the 2 tops I bought were Aussie brands. :D

I find it a hassle to drive into town, find a parking lot, contest with other humans for walking space, queue up to use the fitting rooms, queue up at the cashier, comprehend the PRC salesgirl, contest with other humans to go back to the carpark, find my car, get caught up in the jam before exiting the carpark because someone forgot to top-up their cashcard, drive back home and walk to my apartment.

Conversely, because of an item that didnt fit me, i probably go through alot less hassle to return it at the post office.

And yes, the above accounts are personally experienced by me.

You are right.

And that's why there is a big market for online shopping.
