Had a very nice fish hot pot at Tiong Bahru

If you don't care about cholesterol this is best

Always not miss the Tanglin Halt roti prata whenever I am back:

One egg one kosong with kopi-O

Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside

I think it was Sunday afternoon a friend recommended a Paranakan restaurant known as Makko Teck Neo located in Telok Blangah Rise

This is a simple no frills authentic Paranakan restaurant and I highly recommend

So there were rumours that the Beo Crescent No-Signboard Hainan Curry Rice will cease operation from 1st October however it had since been downgraded to closing for renovation (what a relief). Nevertheless its my "ritual" to visit this stall each time I am back in Singapore so on Monday the 29th I went for my breakfast with 2 other person. 

It was 7.55am I am 12th person in the queue

Finally closer to the stall (this is the owner)

The curry drenched rice with an egg

Crispy pork chop which is one of the dishes they are famous for

Meatball and braised fried tofu

Another most popular dish

Deep fried prawns

After the meal the line was even longer

After the curry rice breakfast, friend suggested to go to a neighbouring hawker centre to try a "very good" char kway teow. It's located in Havelock Food Centre.

I have to admit is pretty good

Today discovered a fantastic local village stall selling khanom-jeen and curries

The dishes to choose from

My humble lunch - khanom jeen (rice noodles) ; green curry with braised beef and egg plant ; fishballs from snakefish

Hope to be able to come here more often

One morning while in Singapore went to Tanglin Halt market for breakfast again and found this 56 years old duck noodle stall opened

So delicious

Duck slices, pork belly, taupok and braised egg

Monday dinner went back to Ting Heng and had their fried chicken and cold crab again

The chicken is so well executed, crispy on the skin and juicy meat

I have gone through so many photos and videos which you took in Thailand and here. They are very well taken, quality is sharp, colour saturation good and composition of subject angles are well composed.Did you use professional digital camera? From my experience, I do not think you used phone camera to take and are you a professional photographer?

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast or supper. Supper is other stalls selling bee hoon cos it is a place where it reminds me of Singapore in the 80s. And yes, the prata stall too. Very old school.

Thank you for your compliment. Indeed I am using a Vivo X200 Pro mobile phone to take majority of these photos. I do not use any apps to "beautify" nor change the photos. Only thing I may have done is simple edit some photos like cropping and adjusting straightness. I am eagerly waiting for Vivo's new X300 Pro which is coming out anytime.

And oh I am not a photographer, just a screw salesman living in Thailand paddling my products here.

I used to grow up at the Q'town driving centre until that block was enbloc and moved my family to Tanglin Halt next to the Sheng Siong.
