Or Short Ram Intake nod.gif I'm not using a open pod. My piping is conducted into my existing stock airbox, so I guess I'm ok in this department.

Thank you

Just check out my exhaust piping today. Notice there's a couple of 90 degree bend in the pipings. Will it be better for me to get an exhaust shop to 'straighten' out the piping? Less pressure drop, easier exhaust flow?

Some pics of my exhaust... Does the 2nd pic shows a cat? Can see the O2 sensor... I think I'm driving a 2 cat car sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif There's one integrated into the extractor complete with O2 sensor too shocked.gifshocked.gif

Abt the many bends in the exhaust pipe... it is actually bend around the fuel tank... wonder how to straighten the pipe unimpressed.gif

Seems like a cat too.....

As for the bends, better to leave it as it is, as after straightening it....if the welding is not done nicely, the internal of the pipe would be be as smooth as when it is stock....

Confirm 2 cats. Anyway, I've installed a extractor and retain the cat below my car. So now only 1 cat nod.gif My extractor is a customised item. Noise level after installation is mostly normal, although I do notice high pitch whistling sound sometimes. Any idea what may be causing this sound?

It is quite common although not all the time to have high pitch whistling sound at certain rpm range when using aftermarket extractor with rest of the exhaust still original....due to the difference in the pipe diameter at the joint....

Orrr... sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif At first thought maybe something salah tongue.gif Btw, between thermal wrapping and thermal paint coating, what is Ur personal recommendation?

So is it right to say that I can eliminate the whistling sound by upsizing the exhaust pipe to that of the extractor? It only happens at abt 2.7k rpm at speed 110km/h. Other rpm or speed no such sound [:)]

Header wrap liao with the shipping kind of material. Tot it'd work. wrap til very nice somemore. but seems like it's trapping heat rather than keeping it in and dissipating it out. Rather hot after driving but it cools down very fast after I parked vehicle. Less than 2 mins can put hand on it liao. Seems ok?

Regards
