Buy liao, complain, bread taste better isit?😅 Best boycott is not buying from them at first instance of seeing price increase. See how long they last. 😂😂😂 Stay safe Cheers ↡ Advertisement 1

Eat liao and the taste no say taste better la. Probably would not buy this bread again. As $0.40 increased too much. 😂 Anyway, dont think there is any impact on them even few people dont buy from them, esp it is BreadTalk, dont think they would care la. You see even those hawker stalls price increased $0.50 or even $1, those stall also no say closed down. Like one of my regular zi char stall that i buy near my house coffeeshop, the price for rice item increased from $5 to $5.5 and now $6 from 2022 to 2023. But people still buy from them, included me. 😅

Nice anot plus convenience are factors affecting the choice. Durians, fortunately for me, did not increase prices this season but took a dip without affecting good quality. My favourite Prawn Noodles from Joo Chiat Place increased price by 50 cents mid of last year but quality and quantity no change. I happy to eat so pay for the increase. Elsewhere may likely be cheaper but not to my liking. Others like Ah Gan Bing (Funan Centre) increased its price from $2.80 to $3.70 iirc. I buy lesser and eat less of it cos its not worth the price now and its not filling, eat for fun snack. Got choice one but habits die hard or out of personal preference, will bite the plate and still buy. 😂 Can't say for rest of the world but heard my cousins say even JB, Malacca, KL, prices are rather steep now. They say locals pay RM$8 for a bowl of noodles. We, cos of exchange rates, of course find its still cheap. It used to cost RM$4/5 for that same bowl of noodles. Covid-19 for past 2.5 years and ongoing Ukraine war played havoc with the world's economy. Some who gotten richer thru these are fast coming back to earth, eg Shoppee. Life's short. Enjoy within one's means and best to have good health. 2 uncles of mine died 2 years ago whilst having their breakfast. Heart attack. Just like that. Yada-ing. Have a happy CNY and stay safe. Since last year their prices have been increasing and increasing until I also lost count of their increase. Now never buy from them anymore. I am happy with my cai png or gardenia bread with nutella.

There is no wild caught one in SG unless u catch it yourself lol. If the store only sells that one particular fish everyday, it almost certainly must be farmed. Some things i don't mind paying bit more for are like croissants or certain types of bread that are super laborious to make. once a while, eat a pork floss bun for nostalgia.
