For me, motorist.sg came back with the highest bids subject to viewing, but I heard from friends that the highest bidder will see the car and then reduce the initial offer… waste time.

Carro’s bid is low. They offer $X to eat my car, or $X+42k to list on consignment with them. So you agar agar know their profit margin liao.

sgcarmart quotz say they have no reference on the market for my car model and wanted me to pay a promo rate of $28 (U.P $48) to get an actual offer. This is really SMLJ to me and I write them off now and forever liao.

Basically I feel all those pay high price for your used car ads are all to catch eyeballs nia. In the end, likely all will be offers below your expectations.

Sgcarmart quotz is good if you can ask them to do the auction free for you. Cos it can be quite random. I did a few times with them already. Sold the car 3 times out of 5, once after a second auction cos the first time final bid was low.

I noticed that the cars I sold to them did not appear on Sgcarmart after that. Most likely the winning dealer ended up driving the car themselves or private sale to their close customers.

Good thing about Quotz is no price haggling after the auction is over. Handover within 2 weeks, get payment on the same day via Paynow

Actually if not in a hurry to sell, best is to advertise and sell on your own to direct buyer.

I just sold off my car last week by selling to direct buyer after 6 weeks.

Price is $4.5K more than Motorist.sg.

Tried to get quote from Motorist.sg (Twice), Carro (Twice) and Quotz (Once). All their prices came back really CMI.

Within a span of 3 weeks different, Carro can quote me a difference of $8K down from the first quote.

For Motorist.sg 2 weeks difference, price increased by $4K from the first quote.

But all subject to viewing...

Don't waste your time.

Stay away from all these highest bidding nonsense.

Bidding will close at high price.

But when handover will say your car got this problem got that problem to reduce the amount.

Post direct seller advertistment.

Dealers will contact you directly.

It's the same result at the end of the day.

@Cheesepiekia My car is 16 yrs old. The body paint and leather seat is not in a good condition. Got some small dent here and there over the years. If I sell directly will be difficult to get good price too I think.
